THERE'S just over a week to go until Christmas Eve - when Elf On The Shelf's job is done and Santa will be leaving gifts for all the children who have been nice.
But if you're running out of ideas for placing the festive toy around your home for the kids, then we've got a solution that will take you a matter of minutes to execute.
We've told you how to "trap" your Elf On The Shelf inside a TV and Amazon Alexa, and now you can get the 'Elf' inside your mobile phone too.
All you need to do is download an app to your phone.
The 'Real Elf On The Shelf Call' is free and can be used on iPhone and iPad.
It allows your kids to both make and receive a simulated phone call from the popular character.
There are options for making the call last between five seconds and one hour.
The 'Elf' will ask questions like "what's your name?" and "have you been naughty or nice?"
It has received more than 3,000 reviews in the App Store.
Leaving a high rating, one person wrote: "I wanted to do this for my little sister and overall it was pretty good!"
My five year old was so happy!
App userAnother commented: "My kids love it."
A third shared: "My five year old was so happy! We were having a good old laugh!"
And a fourth added: "My little cousin just likes talking to the little elf about how good he has been."
For those on Android phones, there is another app, also called 'Real Elf On The Shelf Call', which you can use.
